FOR YEAR 9 (FORM 3) INTAKE, 2011

OPEN EVENING

Our Open Evening will be held on Tuesday 20 July 2010. To accommodate increasing numbers of prospective students and their parents, there will be two guided tours, one beginning at 4.00pm and the second at 6.00pm. Each of the tours will begin at the school assembly hall, with the Principal’s address.

NO ENROLMENTS WILL BE TAKEN ON THE NIGHT OF THE OPEN EVENING.

ENROLMENT REQUIREMENTS FOR BOTH IN ZONE AND OUT OF ZONE APPLICANTS:

IN ZONE/OUT OF ZONE enrolments will be taken on the following evenings:
SURNAME A-L Monday 26 July 2010 between 4-7pm
M-Z Wednesday 28 July 2010 between 4-7pm
For parents who are unable to attend on these nights there will be another evening on
Tuesday 3 August 2010 between 4pm and 7 pm.

Parents should bring their daughter(s) to the school, together with a copy of their latest school report.

The immigration status of all students enrolling as domestic students must be verified,
i.e. parents must bring their daughter’s NZ birth certificate or their Passport showing residency status. Any parents who are on work permits must bring their passports also. (Please also bring proof of residency within the school zone, eg telephone or power bill). Please refer to our website for map of school zone.

The closing date for Out of Zone applications is Wednesday 1 September 2010 and the ballot for these places will take place on Monday 6 September 2010. Letters will be sent to all successful applicants by 8 September 2010 and the cut-off date for parents to accept places is 20 September 2010.

SCHOOL DONATION
Facilities for payment of the 2011 School Donation will be available at the enrolment evenings.
The school donation is $375.00 and if paid by 28 February 2011, will reduce to $325.00.
For families with two or more students attending Westlake Girls High School, the Donation reduces to $175.00 for the second student, making a total of $500.00 for both.
