The International Team is seeking a friendly and motivated person, who is able to work under pressure, with good time management and accurate data input skills. An affinity for students from other countries and ability to build strong relationships with our homestay families is essential.
The successful applicant will provide an efficient homestay placement and monitoring service for the school’s international students in accordance with the "Education (Pastoral Care of International Students) Code of Practice 2016" and the "Guidelines for the Code of Practice". Familiarity with the provisions of the code and its guidelines would be an advantage.
Hours are 8am – 4.30pm Monday - Friday including school holidays. However, the role will include occasional after hours, or weekend work and therefore the ideal candidate will need to be open to flexibility in their working hours.
There will also be an expectation to share the 24/7 emergency phone on a 2 out of 6 week rota basis throughout the year with the International Director and Pastoral Care Support Administrator.
A clean New Zealand Drivers licence is necessary and the successful applicant will undergo police clearance.
Applications close on Friday 20 April 2018 at 4pm.
