Zoe Cronin, Head Girl for 2013
Becoming Head Girl of Westlake Girls High School for 2013 fills me with honor and pride. It is humbling to be presented with the opportunity to help lead such a prestigious school that continually strives to achieve personal excellence and success.

As Head Girl I aim to be a positive role model of the high expectations the school has. I want to learn more about leadership and be effective in my role. I want to help others where I can and help make the school an even better place.

Since starting at Westlake Girls High School in Year 9 I have been a leader every year and a member of the Sports committee. I am a sports fanatic, participating in a wide range of sports. The sports that I am currently most passionate about are volleyball and beach volleyball. I am a person who always commits to what I do and gives my very best to the task at hand. I work hard academically, which I am hoping will enable me to achieve highly and lead to a successful career upon leaving school.

To be given this fantastic opportunity to work for and with a whole lot of people is highly motivating. I will promote the values and high standards within our school as well as the new five house structure, which has been developed. I will endeavor to engage in all aspects of school life with a positive, courteous and considerate manner. My goal as Head Girl is to be inspired and be inspiring.
