New York Design competition winner

Yeon Jae Choi (Year 13) won the New York Design Competition sponsored by the group working with people who have Complex regional Pain Syndrome. Karate Success

Two Westlake Girls High School students, Reilly Polachek (Year 11) and Tsai Te Kapaiwaho (year 9) produced excellent results at the National Karate Champs and the Secondary Schools Karate Champs.
Reilly gained the following awards:
National Karate Champs: 1st in 14-15 Female Premier Kata,2nd  more

U18 Hockey Results

A number of Westlake students were involved in the North Harbour U18 Hockey Tournaments.
The Under 18A team came 4th at their National tournament in Napier. Westlake students included; Bianca Oram, Alex Agnew, MatteaHarris and Julie Ellis.

Table tennis success

At the recent New Zealand National Table Tennis Champs, Veronica Li (Year 10) gained 3rd place in the Under 18 Teams event and the Under 18 doubles. A fabulous effort considering Veronica is only 14 years old!

Summa Cum Laude International youth Music Festival in Vienna

The music groups have performed fantastically at the Summa Cum Laude International youth Music Festival in Vienna.
