Students win New Zealand Rowing Champs medal

Two Westlake Girls students teamed up and won a medal at the New Zealand Rowing Club Championships held in mid-February. Sophie Egnot-Johnson and Andrea Fick (both Year 13) won a Bronze Medal in the finals of the New Zealand Rowing Club Under-19 Doubles sculls event.

2018 School Athletics Champions

A very successful whole-school Athletics Day was held at Onewa Domain in mid-February. The overall athletics champions from each of the three age grades were:

Student wins Queensland title

Domi Menoita (Year 10) competed as part of a New Zealand team that travelled to Australia in late February to compete in the Queensland Junior Beach Volleyball Champs. She and her playing partner did extremely well, winning the competition and taking Gold.

Seven students in winning National Age Group Touch team
