Westlake Girls has enjoyed golfing success over the past 5 years but is rebuilding its golf team for the North Shore Collegiate Golf Competition which is played in February – March. To compete in this league, students need to have a handicap. Individuals can also enter the two day Auckland Secondary Schools Strokeplay Championships on Monday 20 May and Tuesday 11 June. Then the New Zealand Secondary Schools Championship from 1 – 2 September 2024.
The Auckland Ambrose Day is a fun option for Year 9 & Year 10 students on Tuesday 26 November.
LEARN TO PLAY
A Learn to Play Golf Program with Pupuke Golf Club has helped to increase the number of golfers at Westlake Girls. The coaching sessions improve player skill set and enthusiasm. The coaching sessions are conducted by the Club Pro and the cost is dependent on the number in the group.
