The Westlake Girls High School Premier Tennis team travelled to Christchurch in mid-March to compete in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Tennis Championships. The Westlake Girls High School Premier Volleyball team travelled to Palmerston North in mid-March to compete in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Volleyball Championships. The team did outstandingly well and ended up winning the New Zealand title. On its way to winning this title, the team did not lose a set to any other school
