Hockey

The 1st XI is the school’s top team who competes in the top division of Auckland Supercity Premier Competition. The 1st XI will attend the National tournament in September in Christchurch. This team will be predominantly made up of senior players (Years 11-13) and exceptional juniors (Years 9 & 10). The 1st XI will also attend the ANZAC Tournament at St Cuthbert’s in the April school holidays from 12th-14h of April.

The 2nd XI also competes in the top division of the North Harbour competition on a Thursday night and will be hoping to qualify for the Auckland Supercity Competition. The 2nd XI may also attend National 2nd XI tournament in September. This team is for players in School Years 10-13 and exceptional Year 9 students. The 2nd XI will also attend the Rotorua Tournament from the 1st-3rd of April. The 3rd XI team is for players who have played Hockey previously and will compete in the North Harbour competition on a Thursday night, this team is for players in Years 10-13.

The Junior A team is for players who have played Hockey previously and may have been involved in representative Hockey programmes, this team will compete in the North Harbour competition on a Thursday night and is for players in Years 9 & 10.
The Junior B team is for players who have played Hockey previously, this team will compete in the North Harbour competition on a Thursday night is for players in Years 9 & 10.

If you are unsuccessful in making the above teams, then you will be placed into 7-a-side teams that will compete in the North Harbour 7-a-side competition on a Friday evening.
