Westlake Girls encourages enthusiastic volleyballers to try the beach version if they can.  The main competitions for Beach Volleyball are the New Zealand Secondary Schools Championship for Year 11-13 during the middle of December, and the Auckland Secondary School Champs are held in early December.  Juniors are also encouraged to register for the North Island Secondary Schools Champs in November.

TRAINING:

North Harbour Beach Volleyball Centre in Mairangi Bay offers students the opportunity to gain experience the game and then excel at it.  It is played every Tuesday and Thursday, check the link below for more information.
