Westlake Girls continues to grow its cricket programme, currently featuring our Premier team as well as a Junior Development team to provide increased opportunities for participation and player progression. Throughout the year we will also be offering specialised small-group skill sessions, overseen by Dean Flyger, allowing players to focus on key areas of their game in a more individualised environment.
Our Premier Team, led by Head Coach Sunny Patel, competes in the College Sport Auckland competition on Wednesday afternoons during Term 1. One of the highlights of the season is the National Qualifying Tournament, a four-day event held across several Auckland venues during Summer Tournament Week, where teams compete in six matches.
