2026 ROCK CLIMBING

Our Westlake Girls Rock-Climbing team continues to grow from strength to strength. 2025 was an outstanding year with students achieving excellent results across Auckland and New Zealand events:

• Westlake Girls – Climbing Series Winners, Auckland
• Westlake Girls – Top Girls School
• Bailey Welch – Finalist, College Sport Awards
• Amaya Tan-Peters – Winner, College Sport Awards

We are excited to continue building our squad for 2026!

No experience is required to join the team, and event entry fees include harness and shoe hire for those that need them.

We are also in the process of starting up our weekly Climbing Club where students can get discounted access to local facility Northern Rocks to practice their climbing.
