Westlake Girls Tennis is played in Term 1 and Term 4. The Senior school competitions and tournaments are played in Term 1 while the Junior school competitions are in Term 4. Teams travel to various venues around Auckland or Harbour, depending on the competition, as well as host teams at the impressive Westlake Girls covered courts. These teams are competitive however the Tennis programme also offers a Learn to Play module with expert coaching at an economical rate for 6 weeks in both Term 1 and Term 4. It is ideal for beginners and those wanting to improve their game.
2024 GRADES:
Premier & A2: (Very Competitive) Auckland Competition on Wednesdays after School from 4.15pm – 6pm. This commences on 7 February
A3 & Senior B : (Inter-club player) Auckland Competition on a Saturday mornings, first game starts at 8.15am – starts Saturday 17 February
Junior 1 & 2: Year 9 & 10 (Who play Inter Club) Saturday Auckland Competition – commences on Saturday 17 February 2024
North Harbour Competition: (Non Competitive Players) Monday’s after School from 4 – 5.30pm – begins Monday 19 February.
Players can also enter the Champion of Champions Competition. This is for our top Senior, Intermediate and Junior Players and the two day event is on 4 April and 9 April (Entries close 14 March)

UNIFORM
Students need to purchase a Tennis dress from the Sports Department and a Black Sports Pullover from the Uniform Shop.
Cost: Dress – $85.00. Ask for the hockey dress not the netball dress.
