This year Skiers and Snowboarders can compete in the Auckland Championship in June and then at the North Island Secondary Schools Championships in later in September. Following five years of snowboarding success, skiing has now stepped into the spotlight at Westlake Girls, led by the outstanding performances of Georgia Marshall. Last season, Georgia claimed both the Senior Girls Slalom Ski Championship and the Senior Girls Dual Ski Race at the 2025 Auckland Secondary Schools Championships, showcasing her dominance on the slopes.
The Year 11 student is a resolute member of the New Zealand Alpine Team, relocating to Queenstown for a term each year to train and compete, honing her skills in pursuit of becoming one of New Zealand’s top alpine skiers.
