2026 CHEERLEADING

Cheerleading is a popular sport at Westlake Girls, and it attracts students who are interested in trying something new while having fun. Westlake is fortunate to have two New Zealand representatives at school who competed at the World Championships in Miami, Florida in April 2025 and won gold and silver.  This could be you in the future and it is as simple as contacting the club.

Westlake Girls offers the sport of Cheerleading through the All-Star Cheerleaders who are committed to bringing the amazing world of competitive Cheerleading to schools across New Zealand.  As the largest and longest serving club in the country, All Star Cheerleaders teach students from the beginner level to international competitors. The pinnacle event for all cheerleaders is the New Zealand Super Nationals held in November each year.  If you would like to learn, students will train at All Star Cheerleaders around the corner in Wairau.  Each year the Open Day is in early February and welcomes all newcomers to have a go.
