Orienteering is a lifetime fitness sport that challenges the mind. It offers the obvious development of individual skills in navigating while problem solving to locate each control and decision making is paramount. Orienteering is offered in Term 1 and 2 at school as one day events like the North Harbour Zones Sprint Series which takes place at different venues on the Shore. The Series ends with a Sprint Final for the highest placed runners to compete for top spot.

In term two, students can challenge themselves with different formats from the Sprint Series, including Long Course, Relay and Rogaine competitions.
