Westlake Girls students came away with 7 medals at the North Island Secondary Schools Athletics Champs held in Taranaki in early April. Charlotte Print (Year 10) won a Silver medal in the Junior Girls Triple Jump. Kaia Tupu-South won a Gold medal in the Intermediate Girls Discus and a Silver medal in the Intermediate Girls Shot Put. Anna Steven (Year 12) won a Gold medal in the para-athletes 100m, a Gold medal in the para-athletes 200m, a Gold medal in the para-athletes High Jump and a Gold medal in the para-athletes Long Jump.
