Who are we?

The Westlake Girls High School PTA (Parent and Teacher Association) are a group of parents who assist the school by running a Welfare Fund and the Second-Hand Uniform Shop. It is currently led by Tracey Smith  and new members are always welcome. For enquiries E: secondhanduniform@westlakegirls.school.nz

Second-Hand Uniform Shop

The second hand uniform shop is located in Room B8 (look for the signs or come to reception at Admin for directions)

The second hand uniform shop is open every Friday from 12.25 pm – 1.15 pm. 

Please note we accept EFTPOS (No Credit), Cash or Bank Deposits.

Selling

Sell your uniform through us!

If you wish us to sell your uniform on your behalf, please complete the online form in the link above then drop the uniforms (with your name or copy of email confirmation) at reception.

Please note that anything you hand in for sale MUST be items of current uniform, in excellent condition with no stains or damage.  Items in unsaleable condition, will be disposed of. Socks, tights and shoes cannot be sold. Other T&C’s apply and are included in the registration form. 

WGHS Parents Forum retains 35% of the price of any items sold and you will receive payment for the remainder direct to your bank account (bank details to be provided on the hand-in form) when an item is sold. The reference is “WGHS Second Hand”. Sale prices are approximately 50% of the retail price. The 35% retained by the Forum is placed in the Parents Forum Welfare Fund which supports students who need financial help. Alternatively, you are welcome to donate your items if you choose to, in which case the Parents Forum Welfare Fund will retain the full amount.

Open Evening

Open Evening for students wanting to enrol at Westlake Girls for 2025

We will be holding an Open Evening for those considering enrolling at Westlake Girls in 2025 on Tuesday, 23 July. There will be a brief talk at 4 pm and repeated at 6 pm in our Event Centre. These talks will then be followed by guided tours of the school. All are welcome. No need to book; just come along.
