Tamara Otene (Year 12) has been selected to represent New Zealand in Beach Volleyball at the 2018 Youth Olympics later this year in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Tamara has already had an outstanding season representing New Zealand in Volleyball. At the Asian U19 Indoor Volleyball Championships held earlier this year, the New Zealand team that Tamara was part of finished a creditable 9th, winning six of the seven games they played. Tamara was the leading points scorer for the New Zealand team.
The Youth Olympic Games will run from October 6-18th in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Katie Sadlier (Year 13) has been selected as a non-travelling reserve for the Youth Olympics.
