Westlake Girls’ Cantare Choir was one of 24 choirs that were selected from 205 choirs across New Zealand that competed for the places at the Big Sing Choral Final held in Wellington in early September. At the Finale, 6 Gold Medals were awarded to the top Choirs and Cantare performed extremely well and was awarded one of the 6 Gold Medals.
