Two students selected for New Zealand Basketball team

Emme Shearer and Jordyn Maddix (both Year 13) are two of the four players selected for the New Zealand Under-18 3×3 (3 on 3) Basketball team to compete at the FIBA U-18 3×3 Basketball Asia Cup to be held in Malaysia in late August. As well, Emme has been selected to attend the 11^th Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Asia Camp taking place in Japan next month. The BWB event allows the top Under-17 basketballers from the Asia-Pacific region to train and play for a week under top basketball coaches from around the world.
