The 2020 School Swimming Sports will take place on Friday 14 February and registration forms for entry are now available (see below).
All students wishing to participate must register online and pay the entry fee of $10 by 12pm Tuesday 11 February. You can enter in the “Championship” or “Non-Championship” events. Please ensure you complete the correct registration form – links to both forms are at the bottom of this notice. Please note the Swimming Sports Day is not compulsory and any students not attending will be in class as per usual.
Students who are strong swimmers and/or are aiming to represent the school and compete at the North Harbour Zone and Auckland Secondary School Swimming Championships are required to enter the School Swimming Sports Championship Events.
Please complete the appropriate registration form and tick the appropriate swimming events that you would like to enter (you must enter at least 3 competitive events to participate).

Students attending the School Swimming Sports to participate in the non-championship events are required to complete the appropriate registration form (you must take part in at least 3 House Events on the day to participate). These events include fun relays and Zumba in the pool. All students will be required to take part on the day (no spectators allowed). You do not need to be a strong swimmer but must be confident in the water.
All students must register online and pay the entry fee of $10 by 12pm on Tuesday 11 February. Payment is the only way to confirm entry in the events and NO late entries will be accepted.

Students must make their own way to the Takapuna Pool and Leisure Centre, 37 Killarney Street, Takapuna where you need to sign-in by 8.50am. The events will commence at 9.00am and conclude at 2.30pm. Students must wear swimming togs, their house T-shirts and PE shorts. Students should also bring a towel and some warm clothing. They must also bring their lunch and a water bottle, as there will be no food available at the venue.
