Two Westlake Girls students to co-chair YOUNITE Board

Two Westlake students, Mae Everett (Year 13) and Maitreyi Jain (Year 12) have been elected to co-chair the YOUNITE community organization for 2017. YOUNITE is made up of a group of community volunteers aged between 12 and 24 years old who work to enhance the lives of local youth though advocacy and delivery of events in the local area. They are funded and endorsed by the Devonport-Takapuna Local Board and act as the official youth advisory body and reference group.
