The New Zealand Secondary Schools Chamber Music Finals is being held in Wellington in late July. There are Westlake Girls students in two groups that have made the Chamber music finals. The students involved in the two groups are Cecile McNeill (Year 12), Emma Wu (Year 13) and Louise Hwang (Year 13). Shortly after that, the New Zealand Big Sing Choir Finale is being held in Auckland in late August. Two Westlake Choirs, Choralation and Cantare, have been selected from over 500 secondary school choirs that competed for the 24 places available in the Finale.
