The Westlake Girls Turbo Touch team won the 2017 Secondary Schools Turbo Touch Championships in early July. The school has won this event three out of the four years they have competed in it. The team of eight students was undefeated, playing five games at the tournament to eventually get to the final and win 4-3 over Mt Roskill Grammar School.
