Subject Choice Evening

What:

Westlake Girls High School will be holding a Subject Choice Information Evening for students in Years 10-12 and their parents. We warmly invite you to come and discuss NCEA-level subjects with TICs and HODs.

Firstly, we encourage you to talk with your daughter about what subjects she would like to take, and then come along to meet with teachers in D Block, who can answer your questions.

There is no need to book, just come along between 4.30 and 6.30pm.  Careers counsellors will also be available during this time.

Les Misérables School edition

When:Tuesday 23, Wednesday 24, Thursday 25, Friday 26 and Saturday 27 July at 7.30pm. Saturday 27 July at 2.30pm.

Where: Westlake Boys High School Auditorium, 30 Forrest Hill Road

What:The barricades are up, tensions are high and a revolution is about to happen at Westlake! But don’t panic – it’s all in the name of theatre! We are all go for the Westlake Schools 2019 production of Les Misérables. The ensemble has been working tirelessly, under the direction of Nick Brown and MJ Milburn, to bring to life this exciting, vibrant new take on a much-loved musical.

Indeed, the stage is beautifully set, the talented cast has rehearsed its way to brilliance, and we are looking forward to welcoming you to Les Misérables like you’ve never seen it before!

We have five fabulous night shows and a matinee for those who don’t want to brave the mid-winter cold. Tickets are now on sale – so make sure you don’t miss out!

Year 11 Class Production

Mid-Winter Concert

When: Thursday 20 June, 7pm

Where: Holy Trinity Cathedral, Cnr St Stephs Ave and Parnell Road

What: The combined Westlake schools invite you to an extraordinary mid-winter event featuring our top choirs and orchestras. With special guest alumna Natasha Wilson, currently studying at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, this evening will be a celebration of Westlake's award-winning music ensembles. Featuring a range of musical styles, this one-night-only event isn't to be missed.
